Police say masked men kidnapped victim in Liberty Village

Toronto police say they are searching for a male victim who was attacked by two masked suspects clad in body armour and kidnapped in Toronto’s Liberty Village area on Friday night.

Police say that at 9:30 p.m. on Friday, they were called to Liberty Street West and Hanna Avenue for a report of a kidnapping.

Reports from the scene indicate a man was approached by two suspects clad in body armour and balaclavas.
The victim was physically assaulted and forced into a waiting black Porsche Cayenne SUV.

The car sped off in an unknown direction. Police say the victim has not yet been located. The victim is described as an Asian male, standing five-feet-eight inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, with short black hair.

The first suspect is described as a male with an olive complexion, standing five-feet-ten inches to six feet tall. He was seen wearing an olive colour shirt, police style body armour and a black balaclava.

The second suspect is described as a male with an olive complexion, standing five-feet-ten inches to six feet tall. He was also wearing police-style body armour and a balaclava.
